Paying for your membership by Direct Debit still offers the best value, saving you at least £5. Direct Debit memberships also help us to keep administration costs down, while also ensuring no gap in your membership.

Entry to our ticketed exhibitions is free for Ashmolean Members. Advance booking for guaranteed entry is recommended, especially at busier times, but it is not essential.

* Exhibition tickets for children under 12 are free, and tickets for children aged 12–17 are half price. However, each Member (and each Member 'guest', if you hold an ‘and Guest’ Membership) may book up to two FREE tickets for children aged 12–17.

 Your optional online Member Account is designed to enhance your Membership experience.

Your digital Membership card can be used to verify your Membership at the Museum. Your physical card is still entirely valid and is not replaced by the optional digital card.

You can also use your Member Account to book tickets, view your bookings, and more, all from one place.

Have you just joined as a Member?

If you are a newly-signed up Member, we will be in touch once your online Membership Account is ready to be accessed for the first time.

 

Are you logging in to your Membership account for the first time?

Click on the 'Log in' button below and click on the 'Forgot password' button, and enter the email address associated with your membership. 

We will send a password reset email to your email address. When this arrives, please click on the 'Reset my password' button to creat a new password.

Passwords must be more than 8 characters long, contain an upper-case character, a lower-case character, and have a number in a position other than the end.

Having trouble logging in?

If you have any difficulties logging in, or are not sure which email address you have used in association with your Membership, please get in touch with the Ashmolean Membership team at membership@ashmus.ox.ac.uk

 

The username on your Membership account will be the email address you provided us with when registering for your Membership.

To update the email address on your account, please get in touch with the Ashmolean Membership team at membership@ashmus.ox.ac.uk

 

If you have forgotten your password, please use the 'Forgot password' button on the Membership account logon screen. This will send a password reset email to your email address which you can then use to reset your password.

 

Password reset tokens are valid for 10 minutes. If the password reset token is saying it is invalid, please repeat the steps under 'what should I do if I’ve forgotten my password?' again.

 

You can update your title, address, phone number and newsletter preferences with us. To update any other information, please get in touch with the Ashmolean Membership team at membership@ashmus.ox.ac.uk

 

To download the digital Membership card, click on the ' to Apple Wallet' button while using your Membership account on your phone. The Apple Wallet Membership can also be used with Google Wallet.

You can also access your digital Membership card on your mobile device and use it as proof of membership whilst at the Museum.

 

Your Membership will be automatically renewed, and we will always write to you before the next Direct Debit collection is due.

 

Yes. You can renew your Membership as normal in person at the Museum or over the phone, as before. If you already have a direct debit instruction in place, your renewal will be automatically processed each year and a new card posted to you.

To find the tickets you have booked, please click on the View Tickets button in your Membership account.

Currently each Membership can only have one online account, even Joint Memberships.

The Membership account is linked to the first/primary Member. We are working to introduce Membership accounts for secondary Members and hope to be able to announce this soon.
